Cafe Goto Monster
Goto Monster in Makati is a well-kept secret known for its elevated take on the traditional Filipino dish, goto. This 24-hour restaurant offers a variety of toppings such as smoked fish, bagnet, tofu, and chicharon bulaklak to accompany the flavorful porridge. Beyond the savory bowls, they also serve homemade ice cream pops with fun Filipino-inspired flavors. The atmosphere is laid-back with an open area setup and greenery, making it a nice chill place to cure a hangover or chat with friends. Some reviewers note that the goto has a unique hint of Indian curry spice, while others highlight the generous portions and the rich, savory broth piled high with toppings like bagnet, salted egg, and crispy garlic.
